This Privacy Policy explains how Awakened to Grace (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit chadroberts.org (the “Site”) or sign up to receive our emails.

Information we collect

1. Information you give us.

When you fill out a form on the Site, such as to receive a free resource or subscribe to our devotionals, we collect what you provide, typically your first name and email address. If you contact us, we also collect whatever information you include in your message.

2. Information collected automatically.

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics, such as your device and browser type, approximate location, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the Site. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Send you the resources, devotionals, and updates you signed up for.
  • Respond to your messages and requests.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Keep the Site secure and running properly.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies, small text files stored on your device, to help it work and to measure how it is used. We use Google Analytics to understand Site traffic and improve the experience. Google Analytics may collect information such as your IP address and browsing activity. We do not currently use advertising or social media tracking pixels. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

How we share your information

We share your information only with the service providers that help us operate the Site and communicate with you, and only as needed for them to do their job:

  • Flodesk, which manages our email list and sends our emails.
  • Google Analytics, which provides Site analytics.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party services that have their own privacy policies, including book retailers, our giving platform (Subsplash), our online store (Square), and our social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Email communications

If you subscribe, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us. Every email includes our mailing address, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

Your rights and choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. To do so, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, and we will honor those rights as required by law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as you remain subscribed or as needed to provide our services, and afterward only as required to meet our legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and significant changes will be posted on this page.
